In the mood for shoutouts and reflection

I also wanna wish a friend, who doesnt read this blog or even know if its existance. but,

Happy (Belated) Birthday Ong Ee Shen!

why post then? because this is my blog.

You know, i realise some blogs are written so well, full of insight and honesty and all those things that make u reflect and ponder. I find it odd that mine, of late, has been filled with random stuff. I would like to say that reading a blog would say nothing of the person writing it. but that actually isnt true. In fact, i think i AM rather retarded most of the time (among friends).. and u know what? i enjoy it.. maybe even more than those who have to put up with my crapiola. (yes, thats what its called. u learn a new word everyday)
i find it amusing. others find it stupid.

Making assumptions of knowing everything about someone is like hunting a deer with a bow and arrow. ok no. i just thought that sounded funny.

*a glimpse of what went thru my head.
(and as i typed that i imagined how a guy would shoot a deer, and the deer, with an arrow stuck in its side, would like run around bleeding in one of the neighbours lawn. It was winter. Then the image of the neighbours reaction when he sees his lawn pops into my head. i am amused. who the hell would try to bow a deer? Elf ah? LOTR fan? or the girl in the korean monster thriller movie "the Host". lol. She took out her bow and arrow VS a giant mutated lake monster. Why? because she won 2nd place in the Olympics due to breakdown under pressure. So i guess she needed to redeem herself. by fighting monster.)

but i figure putting something worthwhile reading occasionally wouldnt be too bad right?

Steadfastness

I think its very normal to blame God for sufferings in our lives. "Why God? Why me?" is probably understandable if a young doctor, at the age of 32 is diagnosed with cancer. Others might think its unfair. "He has been such a kind and good man all his life, and such a devoted man of God even. He doesnt deserve this." I might not have experienced suffering even close to that extent, but i know as a Christian, suffering is inevitable. And when troubles and trials do come, i wonder if ill actually be able to persevere and rejoice...i should tho. To stop asking why, because i know that there is a purpose in my suffering, and he IS in control and knows whats best. And because of that purpose, i can rejoice in the Lord.
